Power has been restored at WHS and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, which will be an A Day. The class time missed today does not have to be made up and we will follow our regular schedule this week, so Wednesday will be an Early Release. Thanks to everyone for your cooperation and patience.
WHS buses will be loading by 9:30 a.m. All students will be dismissing by 9:30 a.m. due to the continued power outage in the neighborhood. Ameren is on site, but has no estimate of when power will be restored. More information will be coming as it is available.
Ameren is aware of the power outage at West High and in the surrounding neighborhood today (3/27). Students and teachers are at work, and we will update you as soon as more information is available.

Congratulations to Fort Zumwalt School District’s 2023 National Merit Scholarship Finalists. These nine Fort Zumwalt seniors are among the top scorers on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) taken by more than 1 million high school juniors at more than 22,000 high schools across the nation. They represent less than 1 percent of high school students and are among almost 8,000 seniors across the nation to share in roughly $35 million in scholarships. Fort Zumwalt’s National Merit Finalists are:
