Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign dedicated to the fight against drugs and raising awareness about the impact drugs have on young people’s lives.
The campaign began in 1980 when a group of concerned parents formed the National Family Partnership (NFP), formerly the National Federation of Parents for Drug-Free Youth. Since then, NFP has worked tirelessly to support families and communities in promoting healthy, drug-free lifestyles for youth. Today, it continues to be a national leader in drug prevention education and advocacy.
Join us in celebrating Red Ribbon Week by participating in Spirit Week activities and showing your support. Don’t forget to pick up your Red Ribbon at lunch and wear it proudly! Together, we can nurture the full potential of healthy, drug-free youth.
