MaskSeptember 30 through October 5 is West High's Masked Mystique Homecoming Week brought to you by Student Council!

Spirit Week
Homecoming Week kicks off with dress up days.  Dig out your best dress up gear for this year's Homecoming Spirit Week days:
Monday:  Pajama Day 
Tuesday:  Movie/TV Day
Wednesday:  Jersey/Team Day
Thursday:  Dad Day
Friday: FZW Spirit Day

Powder Puff Football
StuCo's annual Powder Puff game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2.  Game time is 8 pm and seniors will battle the juniors on the gridiron for the title of Powder Puff Champions.  Join the fun for Wednesday night lights as the girls take to the field and the boys cheer from the sidelines.  Entry fee is $2 per person or 2 canned or boxed goods per person.  All canned and boxed goods will be donated to West Warehouse, West High's own food pantry which serves West families in need.  

Dances and Ticket Sales
Tickets for the freshman-sophomore dance or the junior-senior dance are on sale one more day (Monday, September 30).  Tickets may be purchased during all lunch shifts.  WHS student tickets for the dance are $10; the cost to purchase a ticket to the dance for a WHS student is $15. 

Prior to purchasing tickets, students must complete the following steps:
1.  Pay all outstanding fines and fees, including negative lunch balances.  
2.  Make sure a signed Dance Expectation  Form is on file with WHS.
3.  Provide a completed Outside Guest Permission Form for any student who is not a WHS student.  Middle school students and students over the age of 21 are not permitted as guests.

Dances are as follows:
Juniors/Seniors Saturday, October 5 from 7-10 pm
Court will be announced each night at 9 pm

Homecoming is a formal occasion, so please dress appropriately.  This includes slacks, dress shirts, suits, ties, tuxedos and formal dresses.  

Parade
The Homecoming Parade begins at 10 am Saturday, October 5.  The parade starts and ends at FZW.  The route runs through portions of the Turtle Creek subdivision.  Be sure to stake out a spot on the parade route and bring a bag to collect a ton of candy for the little ones (or yourself!).
