Over $3,500 Raised for American Heart Association
West High Wins!

Red Out at FZW vs FHNCongratulations to West High who has been announced the winner in a friendly battle between West High and Francis Howell North High students.  Last month, West High's Leadership class students joined with student leaders from Howell North to raise  money and awareness for the American Heart Association.  Students sold American Red Cross t-shirts and collected donations via text and a miracle minute collection during the varsity football game against Howell North.  Howell North students raised $1,724.43 and West High students donated $1,894.51.
"The Leadership students along with Mr. [Lee] Hardy did an amazing job bringing awareness to heart disease, our nation's #1 killer," said Cheryl Rybak,Youth Market Director for the American Heart Association.  "Amazing job to everyone and groundbreaking research is continuing to save lives because of all the hard work everyone put in."
