Current Events

Join the Saving Our Students Club Wednesday, October 23 in the Commons at lunch for Unity Day.  Be sure to wear orange too!  Have a photo taken at the photo booth and share your picture with SOS @fzwsos on Instagram.  Students who participate will be treated to a sweet treat by the counseling staff.  For more information about Unity Day from the National Bullying Prevention Center, visit https://www.pacer.org/bullying/nbpm/unity-day.asp.




Upcoming Events

Pennies for Patients   The week of October 28-November 1, Key Club will be sponsoring a Pennies for Patients collection drive.  Pennies for Patients partners with schools across the country to help raise money for local blood cancer patients.  Participating classes are eligible to win either a donut or pizza party for their donation efforts.  Key Club will also be collecting money at the Friday night football game November 1.  Be sure to bring your spare change to make a donation.  For more information about Pennies for Patients, visit https://www.penniesforpatients.org/


Yearbook Order Deadline   The deadline to purchase a yearbook for $60 is quickly approaching.  Beginning November 2, the cost to purchase a yearbook will increase to $65.  Purchase yours by November 1 for only $60.  For ordering information, please see the link on our What's New page.


No Hunger Holiday   Mark your calendars for the annual No Hunger Holiday Turkey Drive Wednesday, November 20!  The Westside Community will again participate in this year's collection drive to provide Thanksgiving meals for those in need.  Stop by West High November 20 between 6:00-8:00 am to donate a frozen turkey and/or cash.  Members of our Leadership class will be on hand to collect your donations in the circle drive.  Help West High fight hunger and again win the St. Charles County competition among high schools to collect the most turkeys!  Gobble gobble!
