October 19th:

Attention any sophomore or junior interested in attending Lewis & Clark Career Center next year:  There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 9:00 in the auditorium.  Please stop by the counseling office to sign up.  


There will be a boys basketball meeting on Thursday, Oct. 19th, at 1:00, in the auditorium.  If you cannot attend due to transportation, please see Coach Towers in the counseling office on Friday, 20th.  


Freshman football will have their end of season party in the courtyard on Monday at 3:00.  All freshman football players are invited to attend.  Pizza will be served.

Wednesday Key Club has a meeting after school in room 164 to finalize plans for this month's charity fundraiser. Member participation is vital.


Attention Seniors:  Your senior counselors will be hosting lunch time Q & A this semester to help you with College related issues while not missing important class time.  The next Q & A will be on Wednesday , October 18 & the topic will be Collegiate Athletes /NCAA/NAIA.  Bring your lunch with you to the Career Center to eat & learn.

The library will be closed on Thursday morning beginning at 7:10 throught the beginning of first lunch.


Sophomores will be taking the practice ACT tomorrow.  Please arrive at your testing location at 7:25 to begin promptly.  Bring #2 pencils, & a calculator.  Teachers be sure to review with the sophomores the testing locations 3rd hour today.  


October 17th:

Sophomore Students:  You will be taking the practice ACT test this Thursday during 2nd & 4th hour class.  Please bring with you #2 pencils, calculator, and a jacket.  Be sure to get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast.

Teachers will review with you where to report for testing today and tomorrow.

Congratulations to the JV Football team on defeating Parkway Central last night 28-14.  Rushing touchdowns were scored by Jake Murphy and James Strauss.  Jordin Garey added a receiving touchdown from Jake Murphy.  A great defensive effort helped seal the win as the Jaguars finished the season with an undefeated record of 9-0.  


THE BOYS’ CROSS COUNTRY TEAM HAD AN OUTSTANDING DAY AT THE TRXC JV FINALE.

THE TEAM TOOK 14 OF THE 25 MEDALS, AND THE TOP 10 SPOTS IN THE MEET FOR A CLEAN SWEEP.

THE VARSITY TEAM STARTS TOWARD THE ROAD FOR STATE THIS SATURDAY IN JEFFERSON CITY.


The Girls’ Cross Country team had a successful meet at the TRXC Invitational yesterday.  The girls won the meet with a perfect score of 15, having the top 6 finishers in the race.  Senior Mora Boatman was meet Champion. 18 girls ran personal bests, and jaguars took home 15 of the 25 medals.  Medalists also included Aaliyah Liddell, Brielle Palmer, Morgan Gumper, Jordan Demand, Aliyah Amerin, Kamy Smelser, Hannah vaccaro, Hannah Gumper, Peyton Yake, Bethany Brosey, Cecilia DiMercurio, Hadeel Nasser, Malaya Stephens and Micah Barnes.  Congrats girls!  


October 16th:

Table Tennis Club will meet today after school in room 26A with Mr. Frazier.
